Join us at the Larry R. Jackson Branch Library as for the Lit Flix, a book-to-film club where we discuss film adaptations of literary works.

This month, we will be reading Fredrik Backman's 2012 debut novel A Man Called Ove and watching the 2022  film adaptation A Man Called Otto starring Tom Hanks.

Ask the Larry R. Jackson Branch service desk for a copy of the book. If we run out of copies, you are still welcome to participate with your own copy.

A Man Called Otto (2022) is rated PG-13 for for mature thematic material involving suicide attempts, and language.

Enjoy a family movie at the library every Monday all summer long! Close out your sweet summer and join us for Wonka (2023) from 2-4 pm. Popcorn and candy will be provided.

This fantasy musical film follows the story of Willy Wonka, the famous but eccentric chocolatier based on the character from Roald Dahl's novel. In particular, it emphasizes his rise to the top.
