Description:

We will be making a variety of creative cards for the Strong Mental Health & Wellness organization. The cards will be packaged in a large mailing envelope with a note from the HPL Teen Volunteers. These cards are handed out to children and families who are having difficulties in their lives. We will use a variety of art supplies including stickers, special scissors, googly eyes, and glitter pens. For teens in grades 7-12. Please register.

Have you ever wanted to fight a horde of goblins or discover a treasure that has been hidden away for hundreds of years? If you thought yes!, Teen D&D might be for you. Teens in grades 7-12 can come roll the dice of fate in monthly group! Registration is required, so make sure you register!

Description:

Join us for an hour of fun, friendship, and community spirit!  Do you have any ideas to share? Have a voice in creating a service-oriented plan for future meetings. Share your ideas and help create a service project! Looking for teens that are interested in earning volunteer hours by helping with teen events in and around the library. The teens will be making care packages for Fostering Hope NY, Inc.  Fostering Hope provides every child entering foster care with filled bookbags that they can call their own. These care packages will include crayons, markers, colored pencils, blank journals, and coloring books to add to the bookbags. The care packages will be delivered to Fostering Hope NY, 880 Westfall Road c/o Ed Lewis Pediatric.
