Can you build the tallest tower?  Each team will be given a set of supplies and a figurine that must be able to stand atop the tower.  The tower that is the tallest AND holds the figurine wins!  Come and test out your engineering skills! K-8.

Take a step back in time to the days of the pioneers.   Try your hand at pioneer skills like candle dipping, rug making, weaving on a loom, tin punching, and quill writing.  Get up close with animals at the petting zoo.  Enjoy old time music by strolling musicians Liza and Mark Woolever.  Check out the pioneer school provided by St. Joseph County Parks Department. Pet the animals provided by Micro Mini Farm.  Munch on delicious kettle corn made over an open fire. This event is free and for all ages.
