Bring your gently used books in good condition to donate to the Friends of Tredyffrin Library.  

The Friends of Tredyffrin Library are having a Book Donation Day on Saturday, August 27 from 10am-1pm. Please bring your gently used books to donate for the benefit of the library.

PLEASE No textbooks or magazines; also no computer books or travel guides that are more than two years old.

LIMIT: No more than 5 boxes or bags (Please, no huge containers - banker’s boxes are perfect!)

WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCEPT: Books that are moldy, mildewed, stained, heavily highlighted or underlined, or falling apart.

C.J. McGroarty will read from the novel and discuss the inspiration and history behind this story of love, loss and courage set in Chester County during the tumultuous year of 1777.

She is currently at work on her second novel, a supernatural mystery set in the Philadelphia suburbs

Description:

IN PERSON (OUTSIDE or INSIDE weather permitting)

This hour long class is for infants 0-12 months old and their caregiver.  The class will benefit the caregiver and baby.  Babies will explore a variety of different positions to promote their development while their caregivers practice yoga to support their own physical and mental health.  Please bring a yoga mat for the adult and a blanket or playmat and a few toys for your baby.  While the yoga will be gentle, any mothers who have recently given birth should follow their doctor's recommendations about when to begin exercise.
