Drop in to play games and meet other families! Enjoy collaborative games like Snug as a Bug and Busy Town, as well as turn-taking games like Spot It!, Hiss, and Zingo. Games are a great way to build communication skills, problem-solving, and brain development. It's also an enjoyable way to promote family time. This Monthly Family Game Time is geared toward families with children ages 3-8 years old. We'll get together on the fourth Tuesday of the month from 4-5 pm through June 2026, except for December.

Meet the author and illustrator of Dr. Rosie Helps the Animals, an award-winning STEM picture book based on and informed by real-world veterinarians. Local author Jennifer Welborn and illustrator Rozillia MH will first tell the story behind the story of Dr. Rosie and then engage kids in an interactive story time. Following the reading will be a hands-on activity where kids and their caregivers diagnose and treat a stuffed animal using mini vet kits and diagnostic/treatment sheets. Ages 4-8.  Please bring your own stuffed animal from home. Children must be ages 4-8 to receive a vet kit. Younger siblings are welcome but will be asked to share the vet kit of their older sibling. High Five Books has copies available for purchase.
